Federgon has launched the HR Tech Commission with the ambition to structure, promote, and unify the HR Tech ecosystem in Belgium. This initiative creates a platform where HR Tech companies can exchange knowledge, collaborate on innovative projects, and gain greater visibility within the Belgian HR market.
At its core, the commission is driven by the belief that HR technology is a catalyst for transforming HR processes. By fostering collaboration, co-creation, and thought leadership, Federgon strengthens the position of HR Tech players and ensures their added value is recognized across the business landscape.
What Is HR Tech?
HR Tech refers to all software and hardware technologies used by HR service providers and companies to digitize, automate, and optimize talent and workforce management processes. These solutions not only streamline operations but also deliver tangible benefits:
- Enhanced employee experience and improved employer attractiveness.
- Automation of administrative HR tasks, reducing errors and inefficiencies.
- Optimized talent management, from recruitment to continuous learning.
- Stronger compliance with Belgian and European HR regulations.
Federgon’s HR Tech Committee plays a pivotal role in identifying, structuring, and promoting innovative solutions tailored to the needs of Belgian companies.
The Rise of AI and Digital Innovation in HR
Artificial Intelligence and digital innovations are reshaping HR. From smarter recruitment tools to predictive analytics and skill assessments, technology is empowering HR experts to make better, data-driven decisions. The committee actively explores these opportunities, ensuring Belgian HR professionals remain at the forefront of innovation.
The Seven Main Domains of HR Tech
To structure its work, the HR Tech Committee focuses on seven key domains where technology creates the greatest impact:
- Payroll Management – automating payroll, benefits, and compliance.
- Talent Management – recruitment, skills assessment, onboarding, and career development.
- Travel and Expense Management – digitizing expense reports and optimizing travel policies.
- Performance Management – goal tracking, evaluations, and real-time feedback.
- Learning Management – e-learning platforms, digital training, and skills development.
- Employee Engagement – internal communication, feedback systems, and cultural initiatives.
- Benefits Management – managing leave, insurance, pensions, and employee perks.
By bringing together companies active in these sectors, the committee accelerates innovation and fosters collaboration between HR Tech providers and HR service firms in Belgium.
